Kerala Women Judicial Officers Don a New Dress Code

The Kerala High Court has revamped the 53-year-old dress code for women judicial officers, allowing them to shift from traditional sarees to more comfortable attire. The updated dress code includes subdued regional wear, white collars, and Barrister’s or Bachelor of Law’s gowns. This change addresses the discomfort of wearing sarees during extended hours in congested and poorly ventilated courtrooms.
