Unite for the Reel Campaign Against Violence Towards Women

The incidence of violence against women and girls is on the rise worldwide. In response to this concerning trend, the “Orange the World” campaign has been launched to confront and address the issue actively. The Kerala Women and Child Development Department is playing a crucial role by organising a campaign titled “Men Join the Fight Against Violence Towards Women.” As part of this initiative, a state-level reel competition is being conducted on social media.

Terms and conditions:

1.Create reels conveying ideas on ‘violence against women and promoting gender equality.’
2.Limit the reel’s duration to a maximum of 60 seconds.
3.Participants of all age groups can take part in the competition.
4.Maintain a respectful tone, refraining from the use of profanity in your reels.
5.Tag your submissions with the Women and Child Development Department’s Instagram account: wcdkerala.
6.Reels will be uploaded and considered for the competition by the Department of Women and Child Development only after verification and approval.
7.The deadline for submitting reels is December 4th.
