The Second Edition of the Startups Accelerator: Women Founders’ Program by Google Launched in India

Google’s “Startups Accelerator: Women Founders” program is back with its second edition in India. This program aims to empower women entrepreneurs who are leveraging technology to address complex problems and create a beneficial impact on society.

Through the comprehensive three-month program, various startups spanning healthcare, education, finance, e-commerce, and beyond will receive access to workshops, mentorship, resources, and networks.

The program is designed to empower women entrepreneurs who may struggle with self-doubt due to cultural conditioning. It provides targeted modules that offer valuable guidance in seeking mentorship and advice, recruiting top talent, and leveraging networks for assistance.

Moreover, this exceptional program enables startups to establish connections with Google’s extensive network of mentors, investors, and industry experts. The preceding cohort of startups in the program was involved in developing diverse, innovative solutions, including AI-powered diagnostic tools for healthcare, an app for managing menstrual hygiene, and a platform for rural artisans to sell their products online, among other groundbreaking initiatives.

The deadline for submitting your application for the program’s second edition is June 4th. The selected participants will also receive assistance from experts and mentors, both internal and external to Google, in areas such as technology, product strategy, people management, growth, and fundraising.
